- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to organize and prioritize duties.
- Ability to manage the preparation of nutritionally balanced meals.
- Ability and willingness to work long and varied hours as needed.
- Ability to operate a personal computer and perform basic functions using Microsoft Office products.

Summary:
|
Responsible for general cafeteria and banquet food service duties including cooking, serving food, cleaning, dishwashing, inventory, etc.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Prepare coffee and stock supplies on serving line as needed.
- Help prepare food items and have ready for lunch service by 11:15 a.m.
- Assist in serving.
- Help keep all grills, ovens, equipment, and serving areas clean and sanitary.
- Help with group dinners, banquets, and meal functions when needed.
- Assist in maintaining inventory, washing dishes, and banquet room setups.
- Secure and close cafeteria area when not staffed.
- Clean and organize coolers and freezer.
- Assist staff in gathering supplies for remote meal functions.
- Provides excellent customer service to all external and internal customers and maintains a good working relationship with field and Home Office personnel.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands and fingers to handle materials and operate equipment, reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stoop, crouch, or climb. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
