Qualifications:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- An Associate’s Degree, or higher, with a minimum three years of work experience that includes sales and/or customer service. Additional work experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for the formal education requirement.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have (or be willing to obtain within 60 days of hire) property and casualty and life and health licenses in states where insurance products will be marketed and sold.
- Excellent ability to communicate effectively across multi-channel systems; both orally and written.
- Ability to maintain a pleasant personality, patience, friendliness, and empathetic attitude while listening to complaints from emotional or distraught individuals.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables.
- Excellent organizational, time-management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Must have initiative and ability to make independent judgments and take action with limited supervision.
- Ability to work with management to enhance the customer journey through new ideas.
- Willingness to learn new systems and procedures.
- Ability to operate personal computer.

Summary:
|
This position provides service to prospects and customers through various communication channels, educating customers and facilitating the sale of insurance products as well as providing solutions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Ability to serve customers, prospects and peers by delivering excellent customer service through various communication channels including telephone, email, chat and internal messengers.
- Ability to obtain life and health and property and casualty insurance license in order to answer policy and industry specific inquiries.
- Research specific requests and provide solutions in a timely manner.
- Enhance and strengthen the relationship between our customers and our brands using scripted responses and exquisite customer care.
- Be a part of every phase of the customer journey, covering product research, sales development and service of existing policies.
- Provide vital feedback and follow through by utilizing customer surveys and review gathering and interaction monitoring.
- Support lead nurturing in accordance with company practices.
- Ability to build trust, understanding and product knowledge foundation with customers while recognizing opportunities to cross-sell products best suited for customers’ needs.
- Perform responsibilities in a professional, consistent manner utilizing strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
- Assist with the development of new and improved resolution strategies.
- Assist with online customer accounts, billing for internal and external customers and general website navigation.
- Works with mortgage companies and loss payees providing documentation needed.
- Ability to grow and change with emerging brands and processes.
- Other duties as assigned.
