Qualifications:
    EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science or Mathematics/Statistics OR 1-2 years of related work experience.
    QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Intermediate knowledge of SQL
  • Exceptional problem solving skills
  • Experience building data visualizations using Tableau is preferred
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Highly analytical with a good understanding of general insurance concepts
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to communicate effectively to technical and business audiences

Summary: This position plays a critical role in the success of all Missouri Farm Bureau insurance companies, by gathering, understanding, analyzing and then reporting data, such as premium, exposure, loss, and expense data, to various internal and external users.
    ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
  • Works closely with the insurance company directors, accounting and outside actuarial firms and other stakeholders to determine the data needed and establish workable timelines to deliver that data.
  • Works closely with IT systems and personnel to gather and analyze critical business data such as ratemaking and reserving data.
  • Compile data into usable formats and deliver such data with the timelines set forth.
  • Analyze, create and distribute various reports to both internal and external users.
  • Be responsible for completing various data call submissions to various actuarial firms, reinsurers, regulators and auditors.
